We had to have a moment of silence in the library to honor the occasion. She thought I was weird but I told her I've anticipated passing on a love of Anne to her for YEARS. And as someone who has pretty severe depression, it's so motivating to me to know that in a big way, she conquered it by giving the world such fine books.
